I wouldn't risk it if I were you. As soon as some new product comes out, a few years later you see it on the news. And you see lawyers advertising how you can be compensated for the side affects.

If you are talking about over the counter weight loss...none of them. In fact the FDA has just fined all the companies for making claims that they could help you loose weight with out diet and exercise. They even had one that when they did the study those on the placebo lost more weight then those actually taking the medicine.
As for the prescribed medicines, most of them give you really bad diarrhea, or other side effects that are worse. Your best bet would be to talk to your doctor. But, most of what they prescribe also requires diet and exercise.

There is a prescription pill called Xenical, but you still have to diet and exercise. The side effects from it are HORRIBLE:

oily spotting;
oily or fatty stools;
orange or brown colored oil in your stool;
gas with discharge, an oily discharge;
an urgent need to go to the bathroom;
an inability to control bowel movements, or;
an increased number of bowel movements.
