Do you need an official or unofficial transcript? Most times, if you are applying to a college, they will require an official transcript. For this you must contact your high school and have them mail a transcript in a sealed envelope to your college or to you. If you need an unofficial transcript, they can very often fax a copy. Check with the high school first as they should have copies, though it may take awhile to unearth... good luck.

Call your high school and give them a heads-up that you want one. Most likely, they will need a few days or even more to dig through files.
I think you are supposed to pick up transcripts in person, but schools will often mail them directly to an employer or an institution of higher learning.
But it all starts with a call to your high school's office. If the procedure differs from what I wrote above, they'd be the ones to tell you!
Good luck.

Write to or visit your old high school and request a copy of your transcript. They should have them on file. If the high school is now closed then the school district office will have a copy of the transcripts.

- go the school
-call the school
-have them fax it to you
- have them mail it to you
it'll cost $15-30 for it though.
it depends what you're wanting it for....sometimes colleges will only accept the actual transcript so fax wont count...but it all depends.

My school keeps them almost forever. It's just if you've been out for more than 2 years, it'll take a little longer for them to get you a copy.
