Maybe your mom will change her opinion when she sees her "future" grandkid. My uncle (we're Mexican) used to always say he didn't like blacks and he would never accept his daughters marrying a black guy. Guess what happened? My cousin ended up having a daughter with her black boyfriend. She's 9 now and my uncle adores her, and doesn't treat her any differently than his "Mexican" grandchildren.

you don't have to be a bigot, just because you have been taught these things by two generations. the fact that you asked the question means you are better off than your mama y abuela. No les hagas caso. Todos somos iguales en este mundo y el color de nuestra piel no es importante.

sadly enough racism is ingrained into society's wrinkled fabric. I say that you should do what makes you happy. when yr nina sees you with a great life and with a great man that supports and loves you maybe she will change her mind. My question tho...is how is a mexican racist lmao i had a mexican call me the n word and well i wont get into it but we are both beautiful minorities soon to be america's majority!

You cant change the minds of others- if you love someone enough to marry them then do it.
Dont worry why someone hates someone else- just know why you love them
Ignorance is bred from fear. Dont feed into it.

well, that DOESN'T mean to have to listen to them. Remember, your mother is not sleeping with the man YOU ARE! don't let your mom control your sexuality!
