Person: "Mumble mumble mumble."
Me: "Heh heh"
Person: "I SAID, 'What's for DINNER?'"
Me: "OHH! Spaghetti."

I am so........... guilty of that! :)
sometimes though, I ask them to repeat it; if I still don't get what they repeated then....I chuckle! lol!

I find myself doing that on occasion! I generally only do it when I have asked them to repeat their statement once already! I don't want to look like an idiot for asking "what" more than once!

It's a little embarrassing to me. I do it all of the time. You can play it off like you meant to be funny.

We all do it.....I use the sniglging time to decipher in my head what was actually said......and sometimes I'm disappointed that I was sniggling ....LOL
