I'm going to have to go with Beachwood, too. It is perfect as far as community, people, shopping, parks, nice homes, affordability, location, fitness centers, centrality to other nice places like Shaker, Cleveland Hts., Pepper Pike and more. You won't be disappointent. Great schools too. Speaking of schools, Orange is on the list of the best High Schools in the nation. People seem to like it there, but it doesn't turn me on much.

But the best place is up to you. I know people everywhere here. All have found their way.

Good Luck in your quest.

Excuse lots of the submit Cleveland has a protracted status history of East area vs. West area & everybody continually needs to declare how the East area is poor besides the undeniable fact that that is somewhat very large and intensely diverse aspects. a number of the places pronounced are no longer as crime ridden as some people attempt to declare. in any case i do no longer see why you does not choose for to stay in Mayfield Hts. that is close to your activity, and the loose way so in case you go with for to bypass downtown you're spectacular there, additionally there is plenty places to bypass paying for in that section. Non loose way get entry to to Mayfield Hts section large places could be Cleveland Hts., college Hts., Lyndhurst, Richmond Heights, Beachwood, and South Euclid. & confident there's a very large Jewish inhabitants over right here on the East area. There are aspects of Euclid this is extremely large and additionally Wickcliff isn't that a ways removed from Mayfield Hts the two. in case you like a extra diverse section with lots of unique shops verify out Cleveland Hts.

I lived in Solon, Gates Mills, Hudson, Aurora and Chagrin Falls and they were all wonderful places to live. But, nothing beats the charm of Chagrin Falls. It is fun to just walk around downtown with the sound of the falls in the background. Brutal winters, however.

I agree pretty much with Grass Hopper - except Garfield Hts. I live there and love it. Yes, it's well integrated, but that doesn't mean ghetto; there are a lot of police that are visible, and the area I live in is extremely quiet and safe.
