You wish you didn't have to obey the government just because you feel like you're not "fully represented." If people were allowed to opt out of paying taxes, those who opt out shouldn't have access to public services, or else they'd be freeriders and screw up the capitalist economy. You shouldn't get what you won't pay for. Of course, there is no opt-out program because it's too logistical difficult to prevent people who haven't paid taxes from accessing public resources. Therefore, if you can pay, then you must pay. Otherwise, liberal democracy (i.e. representative government with civil liberties) would be unsustainable; we'd end up with no government or government paid for by a few people (and therefore representative of a few people rather than all people). Do you want oligarchy or anarchy?

That sounds good to me, and the Republican thing is just about there anyway, don't forget it's an all-volunteer military. The Dems would freak though. They think that only Republicans should pay taxes.
