You may be better off with a good puppy chow if the wyvern is still young ( That's under four hundred years of age for the species ) and if it's a mature specimen a more balanced diet would be preferable, easier to digest. I recommend a good pet store, full service, where You can bring the beast in to meet the friendly sales staff! Tally ho!

Personally, I'd go with Hill's Science Diet, but as a wyvern can eat you out of house and home, a cheaper brand might be easier on the pocketbook.

If I were you..........I wouldn't buy the meow mix--too expensive. Why don't you turn him loose in the village everyday and let him eat a couple of the peasants?

I'd use a higher quality food, and I'd use kitten food rather than cat food. It's higher in protein. But if you really want him to be healthy, I'd give him reptile food. ZuPreem makes a good monitor chow that might suit your needs. There are repti-sausages out there too, but I can't remember who makes them.
