I also saw the show as well. I thought that it was sad yes, but they did show another side. I think that mtv did a good job of showing that a degree of normalcy can be achieved, although that does depend on the severity. The show also helps to educate on the differences in people and more about what tourettes is.

I saw it, and it is very accurate in its portrayal of Tourette's sufferers. However... it only showed severe cases and not any mild or moderate ones.
Yes indeed, going through school with Tourette's is quite sucky. I got diagnosed at age 21, which means I had already gone through 12 years of school plus college before finding out just what was causing all those tics.

Yes and it's very interesting. I like the series True Life because they document issues that we don't think about on a daily basis. MTV gets an A+ for that show...

Yes, I saw it and was quite amazed.
The teenage girl is going to have a hard life, she has this disease that she can't help, but she is so toxic and hateful to those around her that it will be difficult for her to ever sustain long-term relationships/friendships of any kind.
Her surgery wasn't successful either, how sad.

Yes I did. It was kind of sad that these kids had to go through life with a disorder that can be so difficult to understand.

yeah! i loved it. so did my friend. she has tourettes and it was like letting her know that there are other people w/ porblems like hers.
