i found that at the back of my old LG cell phone when i removed the battery any idea what could this mean and how do i know the SAR of my manufacturer?

great , my phone is B1300 and it is not listed in that website and I am in the Middle East now but my phone is "made in Taiwan"
I really need to know how much it harms my brain

GSM is the network type that your phone uses. Cingular and T- mobile use GSM. 900/1800 is the fequency bands that your specific phone uses. There are tri band and quad band GSM phones also.

As for SAR, check out this site....

There are 4 GSM bands, GSM 850 GSM900 GSM1800 and GSM 1900
North America GSM is 850 and 1900
The rest of the world is GSM900 and 1800
Your phone is a European Dual Band Phone and would not work in the U.S
As to SAR, (specific absorption rate) is a measurement of how much electromagnetic radiation is absorbed by body tissue whilst using a mobile phone.

1st answer (above me) nice job, except that Cingular uses GSM 850 and 1900. and T-Mobile America uses just 1900.

GSM 900/1800 are the European and Asian bands. This is so you can use your phone in Europe or Asia.
