I was wondering that this morning. I looked at the Hall of Fame inductees for Cornerbacks, and I was a little shocked that I didn't see Steve Atwater or Deion Sanders. Maybe they're both too recently retired, but they were equally as good if not better than Champ Bailey in their prime. What do you think? Is Champ Bailey good enough to get into the Hall of Fame? What about Steve Atwater or Deion Sanders?

Well as for cornerbacks, it is much harder it seems for them to make the hall, however your question is whether he is good enough to make it in. I would say he IS good enough but probably wont get in. As for Atwater and Sanders, I believe only Sanders will make it.

1) Atwater was a S, not a CB

2) Atwater is eligible (99 was last year) but Deion played til 05 (of course Deion's gonna get in, he's the best CB ever). Atwater's probably not in cuz the lame 3-6 limit forces them to play catch up w/older players

3) Champ is a shoe in. He's earned the ttle "shut down CB" and that is reserved for the elite

I think Champ Bailey has a good chance of making the HOF. He is liked by the media (who elects the inductees) and he is a great CB. I'm not sure about Sanders.

I think that Champ will. He is the best corner in the game. Deion will make it in when he is eligable in 5 years. Remember that Deion played for the Ravens last season and you have to be out of the NFL for 5 years to be voted in.

Champ bailey is the best shutdown-corner in the game, he is such an asset on defence the broncos dont have to worry about his half of the feild hes got it covered. I think if he plays like hes been playing for a few more solid years hell be a shoe-in

Should he? Yes. Will he? Maybe. He's a "shut down" corner but I really think he might get in the second time he's eligible instead of the first.

The guy is amazing though and certainly deserves being in the Hall.

Champ is no Boss Bailey so he's a perfect fit for the HOF.
