I think it's just junk , but just wanted to know!

These emails are spam. It's a trick to get you to look at the emails because they are unread and in the 'oldest' emails section.

The reason for the old date is most likely an email server that was setup to send spam has this date set. Probably something happened on that server that reset it's date and no one monitors it at this detail to realise they are sending out SPAM with this old date.

Make it easier for me to just trash it :)
I wish they would all use the old date.

It's gotta be spam, or maybe a virus / trojan.

They intentionally change the date so it goes to the bottom of the list. That way, they can send it to more people before it gets reported and their computer (or the computer they hijacked) gets blocked.

Of course, it could be an innocent mistake, or a rare millenium bug, but that's very unlikely.

Yea it's junk mail, or someone accidnetly out the wrong date. either way you should delete it it's not that importnant.
