It seems like a woman has done you wrong, don't turn on the whole female population. It can be seen that men have it all too, they can have everything at there disposal why marry and be tied down. Men have an alot of cards in there hands, But I think most people get married today for Religious reasons. But don't hate the all of the opposite sex. Also I will agree, there are alot of women that will never be content, but it doesn't mean as a whole that we are all bad. Also the guys in the middle east on to something? What do you mean? There are some women out there looking for Mr. right to just love them, Not for money or sex. Sorry, to answer being a woman, but could not pass this up.

I am not against marriage but I do agree with you on a lot of points I am a divorced man and I am at the point that I don,t want to play the marriage game any more I know that I can,t be with just one woman I have never had a woman that I did not cheat on I am no proud of it but it,s the truth so I,ve decided to just do me find a woman I like be up front with her and if she is with it great if not I understand and keep it moving because I can,t stand the questions women ask and the attitude they get I am not going through it any more the bible says that all men are not meant to be married I did not understand it at first now I do it,s OK to not be married sure most people would love to have that perfect person and I have had them and it did not work good luck

That statement is no more true than a woman saying, "why is it that all men want a young, hot, thin piece and arent' happy unless they have otherwise? If they do want marriage, they expect you to stay thin and beautiful and to never look at another man even when he gets to go to strip clubs and act like a pig. If they do get married, they will just cheat on you with someone younger and hotter after you have a child or gain weight.". See how ridiculous this sounds?

you have a point, and now here is mine.
Marriage is more than a peice of paper. Before the US Federal government, before the British Parlament, before the Roman Empire, before the army of Israel, before Muhammad and Jesus, and before the Ark of Noah there were Adam and Eve. They were married and joined together as man and woman. They were married together in the sight of God... why and how? I'm sure there were no divorce courts or papers to sign stating marital bliss began 2/1/7000 B.C.
Marriage is a sign of commitment and it's a commitment to love and sacrafice self. This means you continue to love, even when you don't feel like it. You view all other relationships with people in the world as secondary and only as friends or family, but not as a spouse.
Personally, I think anyone who cheats on their spouse is disgusting and doesn't care about themselves first so how can they care about anyone else? For those of you out there who are married, enjoy your spouse. For those of you who have cheated or who are cheating.... shame on you... you don't love anyone not even yourself.
And you are right... that is one of the reasons the world hates America.... it is turning into a sloth of moral excrement. I'm not a religious person.... but I know the difference between right and wrong. I'm proud of our countries past... but I'm afraid of our future. Anyone who disagrees needs to read the fall of the Roman, Mongolian, or Turkish empires and they will see why there is need for change.

Its too bad that you are giving a woman (or women) who broke your heart so much power over your life. I have been very hurt before and I would never put all men in the same category. Heck, my ex husband isn't fit to poilsh my current husbands shoes. What is that saying about a woman scorned? I think that should apply to men in some cases.

Based on this question and your prior question about dating, it sounds as if you have been badly hurt by your ex. Try not to harbor any ill will toward her. If you continue to do so it will be apparent to most people with whom you have any type of social relationship. So, why get married? That's a legititimate question. Marriage is not for all people. But, I married because I love her and want to spend the rest of my life with her. Living a life full of love, rather than loneliness, is my personal choice.

Good question. Why does ANYONE get married these days? Both men and women are capable of living happily without each other, so what's the point? (I'm a Canadian girl, by the way.)
