They condition there voices to take the punishment of all the screaming, and linkin park is nothing to compared to some of the bands out there that scream through an entire song.

Sometimes they do. Bands that scream a lot often have to cancel concerts because the singer's strained their throat too much. Bullet For My Valentine recently had to reschedule a couple of concerts, cos Matt was ill with something to do with his throat and couldn't sing.

I suppose some are just lucky and don't have this happen often.. Linkin Park don't scream as much as loads of other bands, so I don't think Chester suffers from vocal strain much.

First off, it's not the singing that's making their throats sore, it's all the yelling.

They probably preserve their voice when they're not performing, and maybe some kind of lemon/honey tea in between.

Their vocal chords get calloused and they do certain vocal warm-ups that help them do that better.
