hell no, they switch it every year, last year it was in detriot. I think it seems that way because it has been in florida the last few years and its coming back to maimi again in 5 years I think also places like jacksonville and tampa bay, there are certain requirements for a city to host a super bowl, the arena has to be big enough, the city has to be healthy to host so many fans and media, they have to have enough hotels and such, and florida is a good-recurring candidate for the super-bowl because it is nice out of course. nobody wants to play football in the rain.

This will be the 9th Super Bowl played in the Miami area. There are many factors that go into selecting a site - most important seems to be the weather and what other diversions are available for the corporate representatives, media, and players (all 32 teams get an allotment of tickets). Occasionally a city receives a Super Bowl to reward them for building a new stadium (a good example is last year in Detroit).

No, this is the first super bowl in Miami since the Broncos spanked the Falcons, which was about 8 or 7 years ago. Miami does do a good job hosting the big game.

That is not true sir. Last years superbowl was played in Detroit. The superbowl has been played out in San Diego, New Orleans as well as other cities. Its not just a Miami thing.

No but they usually pick a warm climate city, Detroit was an exception last year because it has a dome
