I met mine at a party. I was with some friends who introduced us, and no I didn't automatically know on first sight, that he was the one I was going to be with for 14 years. I just remember loving his beautiful green eyes sparkling in the light.

I was at a dance in my hometown when i was home from college for the summer. He(My husband) was drunk and apparently called "dibs" when he saw me, so he threatened his cousin(Andy) not to ruin it for him and had Andy introduce himself to me. He asked me out that night I agreed and I later had to tell him we couldn't go out. We talked a few times after that. Then it wasn't until I went back to college that we emailed each other a couple of times somehow he convinced me to go to Billings with him to pick up his brother from the airport he asked me out again that night, and this time I actually went out with him. After dating him for about 4 months I knew he was the one. A year later we were engaged and now we've been married going on 3 years with 2 beautiful kids.

I met my wife of 5 years online. She was married at the time but separated. I put the Rod Rod Mojo on her and she had no choice but to serve my every whim. OK OK, so I added the Mojo part and the whim stuff, but we really did meet online.

Working in a strip joint where I was a waitress and he was a customer.
Was I looking....yes and no. Technically I was working, but I was working THERE because I wanted to meet men. I don't think I was overly desperate at the time, though.

yes, i was together with someone else at the begining. when people learned that we met through the net, they said it cannot last more than a month but we were physically together for two years.
after a few months we were together, i sent him a poem called "are you the one" and he replied to me with a poem starting "i am the one because.." we were always sure and aware of the value of our relationship when we were together.
we are not together anymore, but he will always be the one for me and i know that i will be the one for him forever. i was his first woman and he was my first man. It was so perfect to be endless in real life.

I met the love of my love when I was leaving this guy's house that I wasn't interested in. I was on the bus stop and he pulled up and started talking like he was from Iraq or something trying to get my phone number. (LOL) And I've been in love with him ever since. 5 years in May.

blew out a tire, went to the tire shop, flirted with the good looking owner of the tire store so he would give me a good deal on the tires, married him a year later! 4 tires, 3 kids, 14 years later. THAT is truly one stop shopping! lol

Actuall i met him on the net! And yes, I was dating someone else at the time but i broke up with him in order to go out with my net sweety! I don't regret it, we're still together 7years later!

In a chat room..only time I was ever in a chat room..I thought "what the hey..I will see what the fuss is about.." he initiated a very pleasant conversation and now we're married with an adorable little boy! :o)
