Horoscope
Choose a word of the month (make it an unusual word) and also give the complete meaning
Jokes
Have a few lyrics of a popular song and have a contest to guess the title.
Best movie of the month
Interview one teacher a month about their job and what made them choose teaching.
Be sure to include some fun, candid snapshots of students!

Take a poll.Publish the results.
Ask a question like
"Whats do you do for fun?"
or "whats the greatest challenge growing up today?"
"Should drugs be legalized?"
Do women have equel rights?
What things do teachers do that you hate?
Parents?
Do you agree/disagree with our president sending more troops into Iraq?
ask fun questions that will be entertaining.

when i was in school i remember them adding:
=comic sections
=personal ads
=romance section (people looking for a date), always fan and funny.
=weekly wheater
=movie reviews
=sports section
=world and local news
=seach for job ad
