his friend has bought 4 houses in south africa and i said well its not that hard to do over there as the money is more to the uk pound can someone please say who is right...and what the currency rate is...and also how much your average house is in SOUTH africa

rhand is not nowhere near as strong as the pound!

At the moment the pound is strong against the Rand.So you should get a house for a very good price.

the pound is worth 14 rand. Property is overpriced for locals- but cheap for you with pounds. a property for R1.4 million would only cost you 100,000 pounds.
