That probably depends on why you went to the JC in the first place. There is no way you are getting into med school without excellent college marks and MCATs. So, you need to be competing against the best talent you can find. That probably wont be in JC. However, if for financial or family reasons you had to to JC, then Medical School is not an impossible dream.

You need to talk to the premed counselor at the JC if they have one, or at the college you are planning to attend after JC. They can give you a better insight into how things work at those exxact schools.

Good luck.

There's no such thing as a pre-med school. There may be schools that have a pre-med program, but they're pretty rare. What you're looking for is a 4 yr uni that offers all the required courses of the med school you're interested in (see the med school's website).

But yes, it's possible to go to a JC, transfer to a 4 yr uni, and then go to med school. You better have awesome grades all the way through tho if you want a shot at med school. They know JC classes are easy.

Yep. Although there are not really an pre-med schools, but there are pre-med programs that usually begin during your junior year. Pre-med programs look at your early college work, and med schools look at your pre-med work. A med school will not care that you went to a junior college.

Figure out what pre-med programs you would like to attend and at which schools. Determine what prerequisites they are looking for in their pre-med students, and make sure you take classes that will fill those requirements. Then when you're ready, apply to be a transfer student to the school with the pre-med program. Do very good in junior college, and you shouldn't have any problems at all. Remember that you will probably have to retake a few classes at the pre-med program because not all of your credits will transfer.

In order to enter medical school, you have to first exit your four year college or university. You can enter a junior college, transfer to a university, and finally enter med school.
