I agree. It's funny how there's supposedly nothing wrong or dangerous about abortion, but once a woman starts having multiple abortions, suddenly even "pro-choicers" lose respect for her. If it's so great, why don't women just forget bc pills and condoms and just get 6-12 abortions a year, for the rest of their fertile years? Why not? There are no psychological repurcussions, are there? Forget the hundreds of thousands of women with Post Abortion Stress Disorder, who have been devastated at the thought that they murdered their own babies. It's easy to do it...I mean, it's legal, so it must be no big deal...right? No one tells you that it's an immediate reaction to a complicated issue and that it's not necessary for a mother to abort her baby to have a good life. Why not have an abortion? There are no physical risks, are there? Forget the INCREASED number of women who have died from botched abortions since it was legalized in 1973. Since then, the number of abortions has increased dramatically and MORE women have died from abortion butchers, not fewer. Isn't that the biggest argument from pro-choicers? The last straw they have to hang onto is "women will do it anyway". Couldn't that also be said about murder, rape, drug use, child abuse, etc.? Just because an action may continue doesn't mean that we should resign and make it legal.
News flash: abortion IS birth control, and it's availability has only served to make people less worried about the consequences of sex, since they can just "get rid of it" if they screw up and forget to take their pill or let the condom slip off during sex. Um, how long have we known that sex causes babies? How about...forever?

Who said abortion was so great? Don't use words which were never indicated by others. I have never heard or read another person saying it was so great. It's not great, but the debate is about choice and whether she is killing a child or not. A woman should have the right to do to her body whatever she wants.
There are some girls who may become pregnant and use abortion as a form of birth control, but I can assure you that will not last long. In most cases, you will not view the same woman having multiple abortions.

Nothing about abortions are great. Sure it may help in the woman's situation to not have the child but murder is never great. The child did not ask for the two parents to be stupid enough to have unprotected sex when a child is not wanted. I know there are some situations where it is understandable (rape) but other than that there is no excuse for one besides straight stupidity. Any woman that has unprotected sex just to get pregnant and have an abortion, needs to be locked up for real.

This question is partially absurd...but ne way. Abortion, in my opinion, is considered homicide. But women have the right to choose. Abortion for the woman can be really physically painful, not to mention emotionally painful. So unless a woman is just sadistic and enjoys pain...thats why not all women are rushing out and making babies and killing them. Its not like going to the Carnival and riding the merry go round. Its not like women enjoy going to have an abortion. I mean, at least I don't think, that a woman wakes up one day and decides "Hey I think I'm going to go out, have unprotected sex, get pregnant and abort my baby! Woo!"

I don't think anyone feels that abortion is a great thing to do. I think some women feel it's a viable solution to an unwanted pregnancy. It would be unmentionable to think that someone would get pregnant just so they could have an abortion.

That is like saying that fillings in your teeth are great, so why are people not trying to get cavities to have fillings. Abortions are due to unplanned or unwanted or unhealthy pregnancy, fillings are due to unplanned or unwanted or unhealthy tooth decay.
Not a very convincing question if you are trying to convince people to accept your morals and beliefs and not have abortions. Personally, I think that people need to take responsibility and have choices in their lives. I respect the point that you do not believe in abortions, but then please also respect others that they may accept abortions.

there is nothing great about abortions......it is nothing to be happy and excited about.....a lot of stress and depression goes along with women who have had an abortion

who said having an abortion is great. i have never heard of a woman who said that she enjoyed the experience. bleeding for often months on end, depression, and possible long term side effects sound like fun to me. how about you, jerk?!

i have never heard such an inconsiderate remark people give up such a fantastic experience most often because they know that a child deserves to be brought into a world of privilege and opportunity and they cant provide that..no one has ever said it was great it's a big sacrifice not a joke
