Where to find it?

I am using my Mac Book Pro for the very first time, where i can view shared folders in the network? In PC i used to click on Run and type in the address.

Alright, but how and where can I type in the address, for example \\192.123.1.22

Hit the apple in the top left of the screen and open system preferences, there you will see a network place, also look in the sharing folder under internet and networks
