http://www.topozone.com
and get a topographical map of your area. The contour lines will show your elevation.

Hello,
(ANS) I believe that "Google Earth" (freeware) contains overlays, and one of those overlays contains mapping information that shows (gives) information about altitude.
**Altitude= height above sea level, most maps showing conture lines, contures are lines that show places of equal atitude.

Get on the roof and drop a roll of twine from the highest point, then measure the twine.
