I had a miscarriage Nov 7th 2007 I thought i had expelled everything and anything you can imagine out of me throughout that 3 weeks. I stopped bleeding dec 2nd I thought it was over. I got a regular period dec 23rd and another jan 22 so I was ready to try to get pregnant again I went in to see the dr. and he took a pregnancy test for routine purposes and it was positive 2 times but then that tuesday jan 23rd i had a swoosh of blood and to what I thought looked like the baby I was suppose to have miscarried almost 3 months back came out. I was confused because I had thought i miscarried everything months back, is it possible for that to get stuck somewhere up there, why did it take that long to come out. The dr. wasnt sure why it did that or how I could have had a regular period without it releasing itself. Just wondering if anyone went through the same thing because it was like have 2 miscarriages with the same baby, I was freaking out thinkin it was another and it was the same one

ok so i talked to my dr. he felt that what i passed was the miscarriage I had in nov not a new one so I was partially relieved beause I thought i had another one now to explain the 2 positive preg. tests he couldnt ,he wasnt sure if it was because of the fetal tissue that came out or not so he told me to wait till my next period and if I didnt have one to come in and get checked. The reason he didnt think I had any left in me was because when i went to dr. end of dec. the hcg level was <9 so he assumed everything had passed and I was feeling fine and no more symptoms. So when I passed something last tues. he was confused and I didnt know that what passed was that because the nurses didnt think it was possible so we flushed it .Today he told me I should have brought it in to get it checked I didnt know. Becuz alot of times they wont unless uve had more than 2 so that was my fault so we will never know but I'm glad it wasnt another one. I have 3 kids 3 stepkids hope 2 have 1 more..

wow when i had a miscarriage in feb 06 they actually induced labor with me and delivered the baby once they found she didnt have a heart beat(i was too far along for some other procedures)
then afterwards they did a D and C (the placenta didnt deliver with the baby).......then i had to go into the doctors office 2 weeks later and they did an internal ultrasound to make sure there was nothing in there. the doctor instucted me to wait 2-3 months to try again which i did and am now 38 weeks pregnant .......which i will warn you since you want to try again is VERY hard right after a miscarriage, i wish i would have waited. emotionally and physically this pregnancy has been very rough on me. I have actually gotten to the point where the doctor is talking about inducing just to keep me out of the hospital every other day because the stress isnt helping me or the baby any.

I had a huge gush of blood in my early pregnancy (about 2 months) and passed a solid too. It turns out that I had a blood clot behind the placenta which dislogded and came out. My twin pregnancy was fine and the boys are 4 months old now. Try another pregnancy test and see if you are still pregnant. I think there could be the possibility that this is a new pregnancy. If you are, you need an ultrasound to see if you might have a blood clot too.

that is wierd because once u start bleeding the doc sees if the baby is gonna pull thru or if ur gonna lose it. once u find that out and u start bleeding more u should have passed it. but if not didnt u get an ultrasound when u were done bleeding to make sure u didnt need to have a D&C.? because that shows if u have a baby no matter where it is "stuck" at. so another words..are u positive u didnt get pregnant again between those dates?? i would hate to think it was a second baby so i hope it wasnt..but it does sound strange. ive never heard of that.

You should really get checked out by a another doctor. This guy doesn't seem to know too much, since he allowed you to go ahead and try to get pregnant so soon after a miscarriage and didn't even do a D&C.

no this cannot be the same baby u must be having twins sometimes the other twin devlop later but the doctor must have seen in a sonography if it was done as i had twins but the size of the sac of both babies diffred in size and the doctor also said that sometimes it happens but later on the small sac disappeared and i was left with one baby,so may be the same thing happened in ur case, this baby might have been very small to be detected and it kept on growing inside,i hope this helped

Sometimes not everything expels. Your doctor should have preformed a D&C to clean you out and avoid serious infections that can make you sterile. I would follow up with a different doctor and be checked throughly.
Good luck and I'm very sorry for your loss. I know how painful this time can be.

That is the reason the doctors usually do a D and C after a miscarriage, they clean and scrape the inside of the utuerus so that doesn't happen.

Call your doctor. They can do a sonogram and look to see what is going on. In fact they should have done a sonogram back in November to verify you had passed all material. You can get a very bad infection if you don't pass all tissue. 2007???

I never was pregnant so I don't really know what your going through. My advice to you is that ever female body is different so you probably not ready for pregnancy or your body having some kind of reaction.
