If you remember the days of "The Brick" .. the phones that looked and felt as such.
I was a subscriber to CricKet communications service. After three weeks of not being able to make or receive a phone call, I took my phone and threw it against a brick wall.
Upon discovery that it would still turn on, I took a metal baseball bat, lobbed the phone up in the air, took a swing, and ensured that the phone had powered on for the last time.
Subsequent cancellation of my service followed.

Yes, I have a HUGE problem with that. My first phone, a Motorola MicroTAC 650 (one of the huge old flip phones (not clamshell) ) I stepped on. My next one, a Nokia 5160i I chucked against a concrete wall, next one Nokia 3560 I ran over with my car, and last an Audiovox 8910 I dropped a handweight on it.

No, but I threw mine halfway across a frozen pond, and then once I settled down i walked on the ice to go retrieve it, and right as I bent down to grab it the ice cracked from below my feet, sending me and the phone plummeting through frigid cold ice water, and gave me hypothermia for a week and a half. Needless to say, the phone was never recovered, and Verizon thought I was a headcase for asking them if they had professional divers at their disposal to fish for displaced phones of this nature. I then furiously yelled at them for not providing diver insurance on their coverage plan and sued them for back medical payments that I evaded when I dove off a cliff the prior year when running from the police. To put it simply, mobile phones have ruined my life.

Yes, I used to have one with a changeable case, but the back was very hard to get off, and the only guaranteed way to do it was to drop it on the floor. I always got mad trying to get the stupid thing off.

While driving, I threw it straight through the windshield.
I was too ashamed to go for insurance.
I just had it sneakily repaired ( the windsheild). the phone still works fine.
