You will need to get someone in who knows what they are doing.
It is important to treat the infestation with a suitable insecticide, which needs to be done every 10 -14 days until the bugs are gone, once the areas have been treated it is important that the rooms are still slept in,(Once the treatment is dry) otherwise the bugs stay in their cracks and crevices and do not get the insecticide on them, they can detect if someone is asleep in the room by the level of Co2 in the air. Bedclothes should not be treated with insecticide that is where the 60 degree wash comes in, any Pest Controller should follow to the letter the instructions for the use of insecticides.
It is also necessary to use a Smoke insecticide, or a ULV treatment at the same time as putting down a residual insecticide as this will irritate the bugs into moving onto the residual insecticide.
You need to treat every 10-14 days to interrupt the cycle as insecticides will not penetrate Bedbug eggs, you have to catch them as they hatch or as soon after as you can.
You must also continue to wash your clothes and soft toys that may be infested at 60 degrees min, + tumble-dry.
If you live in a flat or a terrace, or semi, you should call in Environmental Health to check the adjoining properties do not have an infestation, which may be re-infesting you.
It is important that the person doing the treatment knows what they are doing as it is required to dust Plug sockets and treat Cracks and crevices to ensure full coverage. They need to be aware that they may have to use different insecticides if a particular one does not take effect, ie a Carbomate first then switch to a Pyrethroid.
Insecticides need to be mixed correctly and applied at the optimum rate to get best results.
The best indicator of if the problem is solved is if you are still being bitten, if so you need to retreat after the 10-14 days.
Call your local Authority for advice, they may provide a service you can use.
Remember as well that any Pest Controller worth his salt will give you instructions and information on the action you need to take, and the things you must not do, follow the advice.
Good luck.

Honestly not sure how myself. I have been battling bedbugs for 3 years and when I think I have gotten rid of them the damn things come back. First time I got them I lived in an apartment. I never had an issue until my numbers downstairs moved out. Then I started seeing the bedbugs crawling out of my electrical socket up my wall. I had them on my bed and even on my couches. I told our landlord and they had it professionally sprayed and what not. My husband and I actually got rid of everything with the bedbugs in. Then a couple weeks later I was noticing them on our couch again. I got very upset. Our landlord said that we had to pay for the second treatment if we got them back. Well I said no and bought some bedbug spray and vacuumed. Yet still was seeing the bugs. Then we moved to another apartment and still had them after cleaning our furniture and throwing out the stuff that was infested real bad. Now we have bought our own house and have a brand new bed and furniture. Well our bed is full of them again. We are on our 3rd bed in 3 years and don't have the money to keep going out and buying new. I keep spraying and trying everything I can think of but still nothing works. In my opinion I believe no matter if your a professional or trying to do it our self the bedbugs will never go away.

u need a specialist pest removing company
to fumigate the whole house ,because if there
are 1 or 2 bugs elswere in your home apart from your childrens room re-infestation will occur. It's costly and u may have to spend the night
away from home because of the chemicals used?
Hope u find a solution soon-Goodluck.

Bed bugs hide out in the crevices of mattresses, so you may have to dispose of them or have them steam cleaned or professionally treated.
