I've never met a woman who wanted to get married but affirmed the opposite. There are people (men and women) who REALLY don't want to get married; they choose to stay single. As far as I've seen, most people are fairly honest about their intentions, and have at least some idea of whether or not they would consider marriage.

I have said that I don't want to get married before and it was mainly because of the things going on in my life and what my relatives or friends were going thru. Lots of divorce around me, but I realize that I do want to get married, I just didnt want to get married for the wrong reasons or too soon. I am with the man that I plan on marrying and I look forward to the good times and hard times and the hard work that goes with making a marriage successful.

Yes! Most women say they don't want to get married because it is VERY hard to find a GOOD man. And then when they do get married, they end up being a great wife.

Numerous medical studies have shown that women who marry actually live less longer and have more problems with mental and physical health. I honestly say I don't want to get married, meaning that I have not met the person I would WANT to be married to. We are able to be more selective nowadays, with making our own money and having independence. Just being a man and earning more money isn't enough.

When I was young (older teens to early 20's) I used to say that I was never getting married. At the time I meant it, but as I got older I realized that I did want to be married. I was not ready to get married in my early 20's and it would have been a mistake, but as I matured I was ready for marriage.
If a women says I don't want to get married and you are wanting to get married, then this relationship is not going to work out for either of you.

Some women feel that society places a huge burden on us and makes us feel that WE HAVE TO BE MARRIED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE... when that simply isnt true. I know I use to say I dont want to get married, but as is human nature... I changed my mind. Im now happily married to an amazing man, and I would NEVER leave him. We take care of eachother and we are eachothers family. Thats just how it is.

Not all women say this at all... I would be honest and if i did not want to marry i would say so but at the same time if i wanted to get married i would say so as well... You can anjoy being married if you choose to... Live and being happy in your marriage is all about choices.

It's classic. Women want to get married until the man proposes. The fiancee always says that she doesn't want to get married.

no, all women don't say that! if she's saying it, it's because she doesn't want to. if she's giving you mixed signals, tell her to make up her mind because it's serious and divorce is already too common these days! one of my best friends said it before she got married but went along with it anyway b/c she thought she had cold feet. come to find out 2 years later, she really didn't want it and got a divorce. listen to your gut.
