My'83 caprice would just almost wear out the front p/s tire 2-1 compared to the rest. Road crowning allong with heavy rightside a.c. component concentration-Under the hood-lead me to an alignment specilists recommendation that involved a major compromise in factory spec parameters. At once I noticed much improved tracking on highly crowned roads but strait-level roads kept my steering wheel off center-(though stable).Tire wear evened out considerably. I suspect that tire rotation is hiding this vunerable aspect.

Go to a tire shop and get a new pair of tires. Have them do the allignment. They'll put the two new ones on the back of the truck, and keep the best of the other three for the spare.

Check the spare. When I bought it they did that to me - put my full size spare on and left the true full size tire under my blazer as the "spare" - turns out the "spare" wouldn't pass a safety because there was too much wear on the tred. But the full size spare they put on is newer then the other 3 tires!!!!

If it's under warranty, take it in. More than likely it needs either an alignment or a properly balanced tire.

well if its a back tire and you dont have four wheel drive...when you get stuck on eof the back tires will spin more so you dont bury your back axil....so if you just bought it the person must have of takin it off road a lot....or it could just need a alignment done...

Hi There,
Certainly the Alignment is wrong. Get it to a Workshop! I hope you might still have the warranty! Check that too!
Bye,

you probably hit a curve and outs out of balance, you need to have your wheels balanced and get a wheel aligment.
