Dont get stressed . I Have a one year old and had the worst pregnancy ever and quite often had a day when I didn't feel the baby move. Try drinking a glass of cold (very cold) water and lying down for a while and see if this helps. My mid-wife recommended this to me when I had times of no movement.
Also if you are worried and want to get it checked ring your local maternity ward (the number will be on your pregnancy notes) and they will tell you to come in and will put you on a monitor to see what is going on and you will be able to listen to the babies heart and put your mind at rest and they will be able to make sure everything is ok.
Dont panic get it checked. I know lots of people who have had a day of none movement. It is normal.. So I dont know why people are saying it is not...
Hope everything is ok... Ring your maternity ward and go and have a listen.. They wont mind at all... so dont feel that you are putting them out by going.

sometimes if you are very busy in the day your baby's kicks and other movements can go un-noticed. It may be the case that he was moving earlier when you were busy and is now asleep. Call your midwife for reassurance no one on here can give you the piece of mind that a professional can. You might like to try drinking a glass of ice cold water, they used to give me this when my baby fell asleep during monitoring, it woke him up and made him kick and squirm so they could get a reading, this is also just to reassure you that he is ok. Like I said it's easy to miss movements when you are preoccupied or even become so used to feeling movement that you forget that you feel them and think the baby hasn't moved. I am sure all is ok, but please call your midwife or doctor to get a professional opinion.

I'm 28 weeks too. For lots of reasons I have had the odd day when I've not felt him move or only a few movements at night, then on other days it's non stop. Try not to worry. Give it until evening and if you're lying awake worrying about it phone your midwife for some reassurance!

i think u should go to a doctor and get a checkup done as by now u should be feeling quite a lot of movement or what u can do is have something to eat and just lie down soon after and check the movement then if u feel anything thgen it is fine as sometime the baby might move in such a position as it is hard to tell but most of the movement happen after meal, and if even after this u cannot feel the movement please rush to the doctor, best of luck

At this stage of pregnancy, if you don't feel your baby move for 24 hours, you should call your midwife. Your baby has probably just shifted positions or is sleeping, but you should get it checked.
Try drinking a glass of very cold water, and lying on your side for a while and see if the baby kicks.

No your baby should kick 10 times in 24 hours if it does not ring your midwife straight away they told me to make a chart and mark the time every time the baby kicks for example if it kicks 10 times in 10 minutes then its OK for another 24 hours, 10 kicks in 5 hours, then so on. If you are concerned ring a midwife

I am 30 weeks and I feel my daughter move daily but sometimes its at different times for example yesterday she wasnt very mobile until late in the evening but this morning she was all over the place. They sleep a lot and sometimes if they are in a comfortable position they may not move around a whole lot, but if you don't feel anything ALL DAY then you should call ur Dr ASAP!

With my second child he was Lazy. Somedays he would move and others he would not. I was like you scared to death when he did not move. If after a few days and the babys not moved, you may want to call your doctor, just to be on the safe side. I use to take the sides of my stomach softly and wiggle it, to get my baby to move. That almost always worked.

Sometimes babies get really comfortable in a particular position and wil lie fairly still. If you are worried drink some ice water. If you still don't feel a movement with in 30 mins (drink through it) then call your doctor. Best wishes :-)

Drink a glass of something sweet. Orange juice, coke, chocolate milk...anything and lay on your left side. If after an hour you don't feel the baby move call your doc (he'll tell you go to the ER).
