Have your tire pressure checked. If a tire is less or more inflated than the other tires it will rotate at a different speed becuase it gets "shorter" or "taller". The sensor picks this up and turns off your ABS system because it cannot effectively judge how to apply the brakes and make them not lock up when you use the Brakes.

most anti-lock brakes run off a pump usually driven by the drive shaft,
if the belt is worn or streched, the belt will send the wrong message to the senser?
i recommend you have this checked out?

probably a malfunction in the brake system.first thing i would do is check the sensors in the wheels.

normally a sensor goes bad causing the light to come on.
