Because they feel strongly about how they feel, just like you do. You are two different kinds of people with opinions on the opposite scale. Should't make you enemies. Just like I said on another question,
support our troops, not the war.
Politicians make the war, we fight them.

Why is it that anti-war protesters calls me a nazi, idiot, or any other insulting word they can think of when they find out I do not agree with them? Why do they scream about free speech all day, but then shout down anyone who dares oppose them?

because the propaganda and lies being told everyday in this country in order to keep this war going are slowly ripping war supporters apart, and when they are in your presence they have to work extra hard to keep themselves convinced....... or i think they will explode.
