Im with you I Hate The Yankee's but I have 2 favorite teams=
1) Seattle Mariners
2) St. Louis Cardinals

I prefer to say that I am a baseball fan in General and not categorize my favorite team. While I have already seen bashing of teams I have to say that I respect many teams. I respect the Yankees as they are a true representation of the spirit of America...if you need something then you go get it....they sacrifice nothing in order to win, that is the thinking of the old days!
I respect the Braves for building over and over, just when you count them out they are right back in the race!
I grew up on both coasts so my local teams of the Phillies and Giants are close to my heart as well as the Red Sox whom I lived near for 3 years. I can say that i definitely dislike teams that are committed to losing and too many teams seem to be that way now.

Florida Marlins. The whole team makes less that Alex Rodriguez alone, and they were just shy of a wild-card berth. Look for this young talented team to make some noise this season. Especially the young guns in the rotation. Each player throws 95+
