being able to visit places remotely
being able to learn anything when you want
greater opportunity for self expression

cons: too much dependence on computers.
too much vulnerability to hackers, weather and terrorists
next to zero privacy
loss of personal dignity for victims when attackers video tape their crimes and assaults
increased laziness choosing computers to do what should be done manually
lack of customer service standards and courtesy
quality of information posted to web not held to the same standards as print media
too much emphasis on pictures then words leading to a lack of quality in writing
vulnerability of bank accounts and credit reports
elections corrupted
eagerness to be the first to post leading to appeal to lowest common denominator of culture
