A real endgame strategy for Iraq (not necessarily "bring them home NOW!!!", but something better than this 15% "surge")

Debt reduction
Restoration of civil liberties
Basically, smaller government (for real, not the way Bush lies about it)

The only things coming up in the next election are local issues, school boards, etc. There are no national or major state elections until November 2008.

The first issue is that election is almost two years from now. Don't encourage the media by getting all worked up now!
The next big issue I think will be a toss up between deciding what is worth fighting for, ILLEGAL immigration, and Supreme court justices.

The main issue for me is that no matter who you vote for you still get a scum bag politician who is more interested in their pay packet than serving the people who put them there. I hate politicians. Self serving SOBs
