Yes it is very normal at this early not to feel your baby move. When i was pregnant with my son this early on it would be days or even weeks with out me feeling him move. It's totally normal. When time goes by and you get farther along you will feel him/her move more often then not. Truat me it just takes time.

It is totally normal not to feel the baby every day in the beginning. The baby is still sooooo tiny and it has to be in the right position and it has to move hard enough for you to feel it. As the days and weeks go on you will feel the baby more and more. Soon you'll feel the baby too much :) like when you're trying to sleep or relax. Enjoy the movements because it's so exciting.

With your first baby it takes a little while longer to feel movement. The reason you feel it some days and not others is probably because of where and how hard your baby is kicking. Your baby is moving more than what you're feeling, but he/she is just not big enough yet for you to feel all the movements. As he/she gets bigger you'll feel more movements and you will feel them several times a day.

Yes. You're really lucky to feel the baby as early as 16 weeks. Lots of first timers don't feel the baby until much later.
It's perfectly normal to feel the baby and then not feel it, even for days at a time, because it is still so small.

Yes, because the baby is still very small and is not always in a position to be touching the sides of your uterus. Don't worry though, your baby will get bigger and you will feel every little flutter (or big kick!) in a few short months!! :-)

From my experience, the movements don't really become regular (or at least we don't feel them regularlly) until around 5 months. The baby at 16 weeks is still pretty small and has a lot of fluid to swim around in.

Yep it's normal at 16 weeks! I started feeling my baby around 16.5 weeks but I really had to be paying attention and lying still to feel it...around 19 weeks or so I started feeling her very regularly, every day, and without having to lay down...It will keep getting stronger and more frequent!
Congrats!

Yes at this stage you most likely won't feel the baby move everyday, but once you hit 24 weeks+ you should feel the baby move ever hour.
