Red Alert 2 is an oldy yet I like it. Up to 8 players can play head-to-head or you can compete against the computer.

The warcraft series definately. With it's map editor you can make your own battlefields and customize down to the last projectile your unit fires. And the gameplay is fairly simple but challenging. Click or box a group of units and charge into the heat of war! Awesome fantasy wargame with free online play.

Command and Conquer series, I love that game! It is so fun, I enjoy playing games like this. Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars is coming out this spring.
