some car dealers put their ugly logo on the surface of the car.. i've managed to peal it off but it's left a residue of sticky stuff. i'm afraid of hurting the paint finish on my new car. any ideas?

Some of these just sound scary! It depends on the kind of adhesive what will work best. I usually have great success with rubbing alcohol or simply any vegetable oil.

Goo Gone or even Windex will work. If you don't want to use a chemical, just warm soapy water and a soft sponge should do the trick.
