I can always state around 46-47 but i always forget a couple obvious ones.

I memorized them in alphabetical order in elementary school. That might work.

Or if you know where they all are, you could just mentally start on the west coast and go east.

Try making a stack for all the states, then you can remember them.

Stack: Kind People Came Over From Georgia Saturday

Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species.

Make one up for the states.

well if you have 46-47 just try to remember the 3-4 you always miss ( ? )

i do it by thinking of regions ( the Northeast being the hardest ! ) phone books used to break the country up into four regions or so which made it easy

Start at West Coast,where the states are larger and move east !!

I just pictured the US map. Then I could go down and name them off according to there shape.
