I have been getting a message that says error report, send or don't send, that pops up everytime I exit internet. Also when I am checking my email, and hour glass comes up (where cursor is) off and on. I ran a virus scan and there were no viruses detected. What else could be causing this? When the error report pops up, it completely kicks me out and then I have to start over. Thanks.

what you are seeing is a problem with microsoft internet explorer when it closes something is not happening correctly - Internet Explorer recognizes it and wants you to report it to Microsoft.

I wouldn't send the report to microsoft myself. However you may want to reset your browser settings.

Within IE --> select Tools from the menu at the top then click on internet options go to the advanced tab and you should see options to restore default settings.

See if that doesn't help. (you should be able to reset your settings again later.)

While you're in internet options it would not hurt to clear your internet cache, history, and cookies out as well (all three of these can be deleted from the general tab)

Your problem does sound odd. I do have one suggestion on how to fix the error reporting problem. Whenever a problem arises in Windows, an error report is generated and sent to Microsoft. This is the method by which Microsoft uses to study and fix problems in their software. You can turn off this service. It is not vital and many users consider it spyware. Here is how you turn it off. Create a system restore point before doing anything, just in case something goes wrong.

1. Use an account with administrative privileges.
2. Start menu > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > scroll down to "Error Reporting" > right click it and select "Stop" > right click it again and select "Properties" > select "Disable" > Restart.
