Last week I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Just to be sure I took a second pregnancy test on Saturday, it too was positive. Yesterday, Sunday, I began bleeding normally as tho I have my period....what is going on? I planned on going to a doctor this morning but because I seem to have a period, I figured it would be a waste.

You need to go to the doctor.

I would go see a doctor. With a + result and bleeding, there is a chance you may be miscarrying. Especially if you are early on in the pregnancy. (could be a chemical pregnancy) A lot of early miscarriages are often mistaken as periods since they happen around the time a period would be due.

However, a lot of women experience bleeding early on and they go on to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. I would definitely see a doctor to see what is happening. Especially since you had a + pregnancy test.

You may be having a miscarriage. Going to the doc or ER will not stop it from happening this early in pregnancy so I would suggest just staying home and keeping off your feet. If you do have what seems like a normal period, take another hpt in about 5 days, if it comes up negative then you've miscarried (and since you've had period-heavy bleeding you've probably spontaneously cleared all tissue). If its still positive, then I'd go see a doctor.

Go to the doctor. A positive pregancy test means you are or were pregnant. You could be having a miscarriage and you will want to have your doctor ensure that you are miscarrying completely and don't have an ectopic pregnancy. There is no such thing as a false positive test, only a false negative (except in very rare conditions).

I hope you get the outcome you desire.

You're pregnant!!! I'd wait because I don't like to go to the doctor while bleeding. You probably aren't going to have a normal period so you can wait a few days!

Go anyway to the doc. Some people do have their period (or bleeding I should say) when they are pregnant. It is better to know for sure! Good luck!

Some woman have regular spotting/periods while they're are pregnant and those ept test aren't always nessacarily true. I would go see the doctor to determine if you're really pregnant.

Some people still get their period even though they are pregnant.
This does not mean you are not pregnant.
I think they call it "implantation of the egg" or something.
I'd go to the doc anyways to be sure
I mean you might also be having a miscarriage right

You should still go to the Dr's anyway... just incase its a Miscarrage or just implantation bleeding. Its rare to get a false positive let alone two.

You need to call doctor ASAP. I bled with my first 2 pregnancies. 1 ended in a miscarriage and ended in my daughter.
