i have been nursing in the nhs for 13 years and am very disheartened by the way things are going with lack of jobs and the way patients are conveyor belted through the system. i have thought about leaving nursing altogether as i do not want to work within the private sector as i want to help the average joe not only those who have a good bank balance. if things were different within the nhs i know that nursing is the perfect job for me but i can only see things getting worse. can anyone share their experiences of leaving nursing, what they did instead and whether it was the best or worse thing they ever did
