How come nobody thinks about the baby when they have an abortion?

And dont tell me it is not a life,,,and that it isnt human,, blah blah blah! Ultra sound and 3 d ultrasound...have shown that the fetus IS a baby!

Personally, when I hear someone say, "its the woman's decision!" "it's a woman's right!" I think it is a sorry excuse for selfishness. I think as a society, we need to act more responsibly. People are not willing to take responsibility for their actions, plain and simple.

*For someone to compare a baby to a parasite is simply ridiculous. Just goes to show you why our society is in the state it is in.

What is responsible is when someone takes the steps to prevent an unwanted pregnancy in the first place. Sex education is all over the place. There is no excuse for murder.

I'm not in support of abortion, I'm pro choice. However, yes it is a human fetus, baby, whatever you want to call it....but if it cannot sustain life on it's own, it's really like a parasite that can't live on it's own. I know that sounds cruel and I'm not trying to sound crass about it. I just wish women would keep their legs closed and avoid the problem altogether.

Perhaps they are. Perhaps they are thinking what kind of life that fetus will grow in to.

it would be best if we could reduce the need for abortions, but that would require a fundamental shift in how we view women, sex, men's responsibilities in all this and contraception

Many do think about the baby and don't want to have an abortion. There will always be an argument on if the baby is a human or not yet. I personally don't support it but say someone gets raped and gets pregnant, then an abortion would be needed so you need to understand the circumstance first.

This is such a highly emotional issue. Many people do think it is a baby, the beginning of a baby, but their circumstances are such that they are just not able to carry forward with the pregnancy. Perhaps it is best not to judge, lest you be judged. It is more of a "Christian" approach. Love the Sinner, hate the Sin.

So I will give you mine. I consider a fetus to be just that, a fetus, not a baby.
Abortion is a personal issue and should be left at that.
I do, however, believe that if you are not ready to have a child you should not be having unprotected sex.

It seems to me there are enough children being brought up badly that were longed for and wanted by the mother. The last thing we want in this world are children who are born to mothers who don't even want them.

There are NOT happy homes for every child that is born.

Women have to makes these decisions for themselves, and they are NOT made lightly.
