Okay if your trying to override a proxy just go to google type in the website such as myspace or hotmail and then hit okay or whatever it says... when u get that... then u should see the website find which one shows the website u trying to go to and then in a blue font thats underlined after all the text it should says cached... click that and ur in its just a little messed up and not the same... then u should be good... if that doesnt work i have no idea.

Use openvpn or other free tunneling software. You will also need a static public ip address somewhere else (like at home) to tunnel yourself via that ip.
To get you started go to openvpn.sourceforge.net and read the FAQ there. Also try to use a port that is not filtered by your school firewall and it should all work out just fine.
Another solution is to get an older version of AOL, get an aol account and use it (older version of aol - i think Aol 9 - sets up a tunnel directly to aol so this should work too).
