There would be a stiffled laugh and the government would ignore her. If anything, the monarchy is in greater danger of being abolished. The English monarchy lost its real power centuries ago. It is a figure-head, a rubber stamp to Parliment today. In America, the president is both head of state and chief executive. In England, the Prime Minister is chief executive and the monarch is the figure head or window dressing for formalities.

same thing would happen as if it were the return of Christ. the IMPOSSIBLE AND INCONCEIVABLE, SOMETHING THAT CAN ONLY EXIST IN IMAGINATION TODAY. IT WOULD BE A DREAM. HIGHLY UNSUCCESSFUL IN TO DAYS SCENARIO.
A NEW YEAR ADDED 2007
Time has just one purpose,
Simply to add on, and on, a bale of Time.
Life has just one purpose,
To go on, and on, and on.
Living beings must have a goal,
"Add on knowledge and be bold."
Around the world in 2006
I experienced people’s thoughts,
So centrally linked, with the rest,
Except that the West is more pragmatic,
But more animalistic.
The East is still more mythical and really holistic.
Yet each year adds a world of experience.
So 2007 be welcomed just as another addition.
COLLS WISHES HIS EVERLASTING WELLWISHERS.
A HAPPY New Year 2007 AGAIN.
COLLS

Personally I Don't think she could get by with that in this day and age. I think with all these outstanding, long lasting parliment, EU, and Human Rights laws; if she tried, then the royal family might actually be abolished for sure.

She doesn't have the power to do that anymore. She's just a piece of decoration, just like the London Bridge.

She will instantly be history, and will probably be selling shoes in Piccadilly Circus instead of reigning in Buckingham Palace!

i do no longer think of she she must be seen "bitchy". she does have that air approximately her that she is "Above" the the remainder of the electorate of britain. its a 2 fold answer. confident and no. confident to the factor that she is a royal, the two by using marriage and by using blood. and no because of the fact she is a human like the rest human beings. if and whilst she does step down as queen, she nonetheless would be royalty yet be typical because of the fact the "former queen of britain, queen/ her majesty/her royal majesty, Queen Elizabeth II". her mom, might she relax in peace, grew to become into queen elizabeth I. Elizabeth II's sister died the comparable year as their mom, 2002. technically the English government is administered by using who makes up the government (i think of its parliment, homestead of commons, homestead of lords and probably somebody else....i'm no longer too particular who the government is made up by using so do no longer quote me in this). lower back in the day of Queen Victoria (1800's; for the period of the Civil conflict), she grew to become into able to rule the country as a real monarch. the cases have replaced and so has the guidelines of the monarchy.
