Here's an example... Say some woman named Christina still thinks about some man from her childhood named John. Although she's older, she has thought about him frequently and still wants to be with him. Should she give fate a nudge and call him or will they bump into each other some day if it's truly "fate"?

I don't quite believe in fate but I do believe that things happen for a reason...she doesn't know him now for a reason...its like being hung up on a crappy significant other b/c they were better than all the others you have had, you want it b/c its the best you've had even though it wasn't that good...trying to tempt fate will only hold you back from your fate...

"Christina" should not really nudge fate, but just help it out a bit. I believe that there is a plan for us all, destiny, if you will. For those who don't believe in God, this has nothing to do with God. There is a track that we all follow in life that can and will lead us to things that are meant to be, but we as humans, with the ability to make our own decisions, can take a wrong step or turn the wrong way. This can guide us off our course in life, and we need to take certain steps back to get back on that track. With this in mind, there could have been a misstep, or a missed turn in the road that both Christina and John are traveling on. There has to be a reason that Christina cannot let go of John, and this reason could be that they were meant to be and they missed the first opportunity somehow. Christina should backpeddle and try to find the turn she may have missed. She should call him, and if it doesn't work out or there's an obsruction, then they weren't really meant to be after all, and there will be someone else along Christina's track that she loves and wants to be with even more.

Of course she should give fate nudge! God helps those who help themselves. Reminds me of the old joke. I am sure this is not exactly how it went but you will get the idea.

A devoutly religious man was in his home during a rainstorm. The rain kept coming down. Eventually the streets started to flood. The man’s family came in a car and told him to get in before the waters got any higher. The man responded, “I am not worried God will save me.” So his family shrugged and left him there. The water got higher to the point where the man had to go to the second floor. A boat came along and offered to take the man to safety, the man responded, “I am not worried God will save me.” The boat operator shrugged and left the man. Now the water was to the top of the house and the man was standing on the roof. A helicopter came along and threw down a rope. “Climb up so we can take you to safety!” The man responded, “I am not worried God will save me.” So anyway the water kept rising and the man drowned. When he got to the gates of heaven he asked Saint Peter “Why didn’t God save me?” Saint Peter responded, “Who do you think sent the car, the boat, and the helicopter?”

Having the urge to call John may be Christina's path of fate. Maybe she's thinking so much about him, because he's thinking of her just as much. I would advise Christina to call John because she'll either find out he wants to be with her, or she'll find out that he's moved on. The "fate" part of it is that she will obtain the knowledge she needs, rather than remaining in limbo about the situation.

There is no such thing as fate. Nothing occurs in a persons life that they do not cause by virtue of the choices they make!

There is no God or Devil out to make your life go in any direction! The idea that some outside force cares at all about your life is abserd!

Take responcibility for your happiness and take actions yourself! If you don't then you have no one to blame but yourself!
