Yes, i hold onto most photos and cards from anywhere since they always remind me of good times. Memories are more valuable to me than their actual purpose.

Yep, but I've only done it for one girl. We met in Florida 25 years ago at Busch Gardens and spent the day riding the same roller coaster at least a dozen times. When her tour group had to leave I had to chase her bus to get her address. She threw it out her window! Well, we wrote to each other for a few years, sent photos. Nothing ever developed beyond that, but I still have every letter and picture. Why? I don't really know... but I do!

Gifts, maybe. But not photos or cards. Who wants to be reminded that vividly by a card or photo. And if the gift is too much of a reminder, it goes too.

My husband and I met on the first day of 10th grade, so there weren't many before him, and he knew them all. We all knew each other.

I "dated" three guys the summer before I turned 15 (not all on the same date!). I went to school with one of them, another was his cousin, and then a guy my best friend (since second grade) introduced me to.

We'd go to a movie and then he would come to my house, and my parents were always home. We'd either go to the theater that was close to my house, take the bus to one that wasn't too far, or his parents would drive us downtown and pick us up. Sometimes we would go out to eat.

My mother always had to meet them in person and know them well before I could go out with anybody. I had lots of parties each year, so that's how she got to know all of my friends.

You really didn't need to know all of this, did you? LOL!

Ahhh... the lovely memories. I kept a photo of the one my friend introduced me to, but I have no idea where it is now. Lost over time... BTW, I never really had a "breakup", 'cause we were all good friends. The one I married is the only one I "went steady" with. You kids today probably don't know what that means, do you? Dating meant you went out with someone. Going steady meant you only went out with one person.

I went to Ireland with my ex (well at the time we were engaged) to meet my family. So, he is in those. I can't throw them away because 2 of the fam members have passed on since we were there and the pictures I took are the only good ones I have of them. But everytime I look at the pics it only convinces me that my ex was a dumb ***.

Only one. We're friends. Nothing more. I keep photos, cards and gifts. My girlfriend's fine with it.

From past relationships? No. I do collect birthday cards that I have been given.

Because you don't have anything to fill the void those relationships left in your life. I saved years worth of those kinds of items until I met the love of my life. Then I happily threw all of it away. It suddenly meant absolutely nothing. I have the memories, don't need the stuff.
