I'm proud to be a person that helps out others in need as often as I can, but it has nothing to do with me being in America, technically what have I done to really be proud to be an American, if I was in Ireland or Europe or anywhere else, I would still be me, and only be proud to be me and the decisions I have made to become me.

Yes. Absolutely. America is hands down the greatest country in the world. Sure, there are some people that don't represent are country well, but that's bound to happen. America has laid the foundation for something great, and currently has the most pontential that any other county. European countries love to put us down, but what's funny is that they've been a country for far longer than us. Their country has had time to mature and ours is still young. America is so diverse, that no two people can possibly have the same stereotype. No stereotype will even apply to America from state to state. The stereotype of someone to the south is the polar opposite to the one of somebody in the Pacific Northwest, and I love that about America. I don't ever for a second wish I was anything else but an American.

I am very proud to be American. I am proud that if anyone tries hard enough they can be anything they want. I am glad we have freedom of speech.......even toward the president. I am proud to say that our Nation is a nation that will recover from anything. I am proud to say that we are the "Melting Pot of the World". And I am proud to say that I am dating a man that fought for his country for 3 years in Germany and 1 year in Iraq. God Bless us all!!
