Propaganda - Pretty much any war film involving John Wayne or Clint Eastwood. Example, Clint Eastwood's HEARTBREAK RIDGE. Any religious film, too, like PASSION OF THE CHRIST.
Diversion - THE SIXTH SENSE. You focus on the kid's problems and then it comes as a surprise to you that the psychologist is dead. SKELETON KEY is like that, too.
Honor - The first one that comes to mind is DA, about the guy's dead Irish father but pretty much any movie about the Kennedys will do. Oh, yeah, BECKET is a classic!
