My birthday is 7-19-83; I talked with this guy once who was extremely into astrology and he said some things about "me" that were eerily true....and I'm not really into the whole horoscope thing (at least not the crap they put in magazines and newspapers and websites that charge you money, etc).

Anyway, I've been in therarpy since I was 15 and been to psychiatric hospitals three times. My "diagnosis" is plural. I have everything pretty much except narcissism. Bi-polar, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, cutting, schizophrenia (hallucinations), depression, ADD, and Asberger's Syndrome (spelling?); it's similar to symptoms of austism- common in ppl who were severely neglected and isolated as kids.

So yeah, obviously I'm on medication and my family and doctors are sending me to an intensive inpatient hospital soon (was in the ER last week for cutting).

BASICALLY: does any of this relate to my sign(s) or any of that at all? Thanks and sorry if I freaked you out :)

I'm curious, you say schizophrenia yet only mention hallucinations. Often people need to see multiple doctors before getting a correct diagnosis but I can tell you, you are probably not schizophrenic if you only have hallucinations, you need to present many more of the symptoms before being classified schizophrenic.
Maybe you just did not mention them but maybe you like so many more of us has been examined by an under-qualified doctor who will stick any label on you.
Before they ship you off to any more hospitals I would go see a psychiatrist one who is very experienced highly educated and very good reviews even possibly 2-3 psychiatrists and have a few sessions with them and let them diagnose you.

Dear Friend
With you being a Cancer-Leo, I believe you to be incredibly generous and loving, and you'd be a dandy parent. I too hold little stock in the "horoscopes" published in the newspaper, magazines, etc., yet I have been a astrological follower since childhood, and I find it incredibly helpful with understanding and dealing with individual human beings.
I don't believe that your astrological sign is relevant to your problems. Those would be more in line with neurological dysfunction, and I don't mean that in an offensive way, as I have suffered with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (another neurological dysfunction) since childhood and am on long-term antidepressant use. It's nothing that's our fault; it's a medical problem, and we take medication for what ails us, the same as a diabetic takes insulin for pancreatic dysfunction.
You are intelligent, cognitive, and very forthcoming about your multitude of diagnoses. I can't completely rule out your friend's forecasts for you, but I don't think everything that you are suffering from is relative to your birthday. Though sometimes astrology CAN be, as you say, "eerily true"; a few years ago, a horoscope in my local paper portrayed the March 3rd Pisces (that would be me) as having an obsession with body image and possibly an eating disorder...and I actually was anorexic as a teenager! Talk about hitting the nail on the head...
I wish you all the best Dear. Keep fighting. It frequently takes a lot of trial and error to find the medication(s) that works best for you and helps you reach your full potential. You sound like an incredibly strong young woman and I will be keeping you in my thoughts.

I read that people born under the Pisces/Aquarius Cusp and Scorpio/Sagittarius and a Gemini or Aries or maybe a Leo is good matches.

Your psychological history, including therapy and medication history, pretty much disqualifies anyone from using astrology to counsel you about anything.

Some personality traits can be consistent, in spite of medical history, but when you get into the areas concerned with your diagnosis, astrology is of little or no use to you or anybody else for that matter.

OK you were not born on a cusp you are a cancer,
i really commend you for putting up so much personal things.
the only thing that i can say is that cancers are moody and tend to go to extremes. i am one too and the mood swings get to me. also emotions run high.
i really like astrology but the thing is that you have to know that it is not all true the thing that makes it fun is that it seams so valid but you are you and there will always be things that a person can guess about you but there are also things that they will never be able to get
