Iran may fall under it's own weight like U.S.S.R. Argentina is also floundering a little nowadays. They will become more dangerous before they get better tho. It's possible each country will change to become part of the world that is productive and competitive but maybe not. If they become even more beligerant and agressive they may not have as much sympathy when they are attacked.

There's no need to, and if you paid attention to what's going on around you instead of constantly bashing the Leadership that's keeping you safe, you'd know that. VP Cheney flew to Saudi Arabia in November for talks with their Government, and since then oil prices have been steadily dropping, and the Saudi Oil Minister has announced that they want to keep the oil prices down.

The Iranians may be the 2nd largest producer of crude oil but they are also one of the largest IMPORTERS of gasoline because their refining capability is almost non-existant. By keeping iol prices down and imposing UN sanctions, we are forcing them to abandon their terrorist support and their nuclear ambitions. Did you not hear the Iranian clerics CRITICISING Ahmadinijhad last week. It probably won't be long before he gets the bada-bing in the back of the head for screwing his country up, and we don't have to fire a shot.

You guys just keep on criticizing the President and Vice President but they are keeping your butt safe.

And if Iran goes ahead with nuclear capability and continues to supply insurgents in Iraq with weapons and supplies, are you and Nancy Pelosi still going to be against stopping them? Personally I am not sure any of us have the information available to us to make such decisions. And that is the president's job and if our nation doesn't stand united behind him, we're begging for another terrorist attack.

by iran getting rid of their nuke technology and becoming a more open free society based on human rights...and by the way, pre-emptive means we would start something in iran before they did..as far as reports go, iran has already invaded iraq with terrorists and supporters of terrorists to try and make iraq unstable and therefore to either come under the eventual rule of iran, or even a merger into iran...so..we are not acting pre-emptively...we are reacting to irans military threats to overthrow a democratic gov't of iraq....

What do you consider the start of the 2nd ww?

Perhaps you should buy an umbrella and find Chamberlin for some tea.
