I am going to go on holiday to Michigan for 3 months, can i get a driver's license once i am there?
Actually i don't have an italian driver's license.

Yes, you can get a Mich drivers license if you pass the driving test. The test isn't hard, Middle Easterners and Pakistanis pass the test all the time. Of course, passing the test doesn't insure you will know how to drive.

E-mail the Secretary of State where you would get a license and ask them. There is a great site for the state of Michigan as well and they would e-mail you an answer to that Q, I think. Not to be critical because I have lived in Michigan my whole life and love it but why would you want to spend a three month holiday here? I hope it is this summer!

Usually most people get their international license before they get here. Here is the problem you must have a license to rent a car and you must have a car to get your license. If you can figure your way around that then maybe but you will have to contact the DMV in that state to see if they are capable of issuing a international license. You can not get a MI license unless you live there.

I believe you have to be a US citizen to obtain a drivers license in most states.

wow...what luck you have.....Michigan is the only state in the U.S.A. that won't give a license to a Italian......If you were born here Italian you would need 4 co-signers and a $10,000,000.00 insurance policy...good luck.........LMAO...!! tell me your not serious with this question...!!!!!
