Hitler was a vegetarian because he had irratible bowel and was a facist. His policies and actions fit in perfectly with the US republican party.
Republicans are the party of smear and fear (and abject failure)

People, people. people, get you facts straight. Ok Hitler was definately not a socilaist, he protected Germany's elite, he certanly did not even try to build a socilaist society or economy, he was a dictator, and he beleived in military rule, this cannot make him a socialist to anyone who knows what socialism is. But because at the time socialism was popular in the German working class he named his party the Socailist National to get the attention of a huge sum of voters and deceived them so that they would vote for him. Kind of like the Democrats and Republicans use democracy. People fashism, nationalist dictstorship regimes derive from the right not the left. Also all this talk about the Liberals being leftists seem ridiculis propaganda, beleive me we have them here in the Australian parliment and they are defiantely a hard core right, capitalist party, they are no different in America.

Actually there are striking similarities between Hitler and Bush.
This has been a subject of much discussion in various circles, especially in other countries.
Hitler started WWII in response to a terrorist attack. He promptly invaded other countries who had never attacked Germany. And he claimed to be Christian and used this as his justification for the horrors being committed.
If you want to talk about fascists, get your facts straight. It is the religious right you need to be scared of, not the left.

I think it's the Neocon Bushies, advocating a state run religion. Hitler was surely antisemetic, racist, and homophobic. As far as being a vegetarian that's a non political dietary choice that many conservatives also make.
Thanks for pointing out that Hitler sounds like a neocon.

Maybe not Hitler himself, but many in his party found a safe home in Argentina after WWII. So I would say it is fair to say that he had some American friends, whether liberal or not.

And he initiated the first real smoking ban. He could've been Kerry's running mate.
Before the left came along, we depended on social mores and a common code of conduct. After people like Hitler and FDR, et al, everything is either legal or illegal.

He was also a genius. Hitler became crazy and began the whole genocide thing after his doctor began giving him high doses of crystal meth with his vitamins, i would never condone his actions, and what he did was horrible, but let me give you a shot of crystal meth every day for 10 years and see how you turn out. look it up.
ps. bush did cocaine.. sure sounds similar there too huh

He also hated homosexuals, believed in the supremacy of the Military, controlled mass-media, hated artists and intellectuals, used "scapegoats" as a unifying cause and like to dress in military style outfits for photo opportunities.....kind of smells like the American Republicans to me.
When presenting facts about someone, try and present them ALL.

Just because he was powerful, wealthy, and influential and on the edge of insanity at times does not mean he did not do some good things for himself and have some rational ideas.
